A smart lock is a keyless door locking system that uses advanced digital technology to secure your property. Instead of a traditional key, you can unlock your door using PIN codes, fingerprint scanning, RFID cards, smartphone apps, or even voice commands via Alexa or Google Home. Our locks connect via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi (with a gateway or built-in Wi-Fi models), giving you total control over who enters your home or business—and when.
Yes—when installed and set up correctly, smart locks can be more secure than traditional locks. Auslock Locks use Hi-grade encryption and advanced authentication features to protect against hacking. Security is further enhanced with anti-peep PIN entry, lockout protection after incorrect attempts, and real-time access logs so you can see exactly who entered and when.
Yes. With our optional Wi-Fi Gateway or a lock model that has built-in Wi-Fi, you can control your lock from anywhere in the world using the AUSLOCK & UsmartGO app. This feature is perfect for letting in guests, Airbnb visitors, cleaners, tradespeople, or deliveries when you’re not home/business. You can also grant or revoke access instantly from your phone.
Under normal use, our long-life smart lock batteries can last 8–12 months before needing replacement. You’ll receive low-battery alerts in the Auslock app well before they go flat, and the lock itself will provide audible voice prompts warning you when the batteries are running low. If power runs out, you can still unlock using the included mechanical key or by connecting an emergency USB-C power bank to the lock.
