Mortise information
The Super Slim Series S3B comes with a euro style mortise as shown on the image beside this description. The swing size shown above is the measurement from the face plate to the middle of the spindle hole. For example the image beside this description shows 35mm. The higher the swing size then the further away the lock will be from the edge of the door. To activate the bottom deadbolt below the latchet you simply lift the handle upwards from the either the inside or the outside. Note: For specs on any of the other mortise dimensions please refer to the downloads page or email us on sales@ausmartlocks.com.au
Helpful Tips
- Lift the handle up to bring the deadbolt out
- Key hole is on the very bottom of the lock.
- USB C Port is not a charger but a back up in case the batteries have gone flat and you cannot find your keys then you use the cable sourcing power from a power bank, plug into the lock then insert any of your registered features to get inside to change the batteries.
- If the auto lock feature is not active then you can lock the smart lock by holding # on the touch pad.
- The lock is free egress meaning it is always unlocked from the inside so you can always get out.
- The switch on the back panel right below the handle does not lock the door but turns on privacy mode which deactivates all of the smart features except all the features registered in the admins account.

Yes, it can, but it depends on the dimension of the gate. Please email dimensions and images of the gate to sales@ausmartlocks.com.au so we can review and then inform you if the lock is eligible. If the gate is a new gate then you can refer the slim series product to the gate fabricator who can have the gate fabricated in accordance to the slim series dimensions to ensure a perfect fit.

Yes, you can open the door lock in two ways – you can charge up the door lock using a power bank with android cable. Then, you can use your card, fingerprint or password to open the door. Another way is to use the manual override key provided.

Yes, the slim series retro fits onto the existing multi locking system, which means that you will not need to use our own mortice. It will also make the installation part easier, requiring less effort.
