Warranty

Thank you for your interest in the products and services of AU Smart Lock. This Limited Warranty applies to physical goods, and only for physical goods, purchased from AU Smart Lock.

What does this limited warranty cover?

This Limited Warranty covers any defects in material under normal use during the Warranty Period. During the Warranty Period, AU Smart Lock will repair or replace, at no charge, products or parts of a product that proves defective because of improper material or workmanship, under normal use and maintenance.

What will we do to correct problems?

AU Smart Lock will either repair the Product at no charge, using new or refurbished replacement parts. A decision will be made on a case by case basis. A deposit of 30% of the original purchase price will be required prior to AU Smart Lock sending out the replacement device or product. This deposit will be returned when the defective goods are received by AU Smart Lock. Defective products not returned to AU Smart Lock will forfeit the deposit and render any further warranty claims void. It is the customers responsibility organise the exchange of defective and the replacement product. AU Smart Lock does not cover any costs related to the removal and installation of the defective and replacement product.

How long does the coverage last?

The Warranty Period for Physical Goods purchased from AU Smart Lock is variable based on the product from the date of purchase. Please check the product on our website www.Ausmartlocks.com.au. A replacement Physical Good or part assumes the remaining warranty of the original Physical Good from the date of replacement or repair, whichever is longer. What does this limited warranty not cover?

This Limited Warranty does not cover any problem that is caused by:
– conditions, malfunctions or damage not resulting from defects in material or workmanship
– Installers work including installers recommended by AU Smart Lock. Our recommended installers warrant their own work and are fully insured.
– Damage or defect caused by not reading the installation or user guide and operating instructions.
